Ben's Cross Country

 

Benjamin, AKA Ben, has been working hard.  He runs cross country after school every day.   He has a goal to letter for Varsity this year.  So far he is half way there.  I am so proud of him and how hard he works.  He has taken on a lot with school and cross country.  He tries to be the best he can.  Sometimes he gets overwhelmed with it all, but he really is doing so well.  

On his first meet he won his first race in JV.  The boys JV won over all and so did the Varsity.  He ran varsity the next two meets.  He ran his second race 2 minutes faster than his first.  He ran it in 20.01.  His second time on Varsity was a little harder since the course was on a rocky train and not a flat golf course,  that time he ran a 20.28.  Still doing great.
